Don’t know what the Mindfulness Beauty Event is yet? Picture the juiciest, most delicious and inspirational beauty experience — then add great food, laughs, and a community gathering. Voilá! And, this time around, we’re taking you to a beautifully converted warehouse in the backstreets of Cremorne, Melbourne, for an intimate and soulful bohemian style Christmas picnic.

Who.

At Skin Health Emporium, we curate and host Mindfulness Beauty Events with one end in mind: to create an inspiring safe space where women can gather to share, learn and connect to others and to self.

The Night.

Join us for a night of pure fun, self-care, and community. The most delicious rosé wine will flow and we’ll tempt you with naughty-but-nice grazing boards filled with ethical goodies straight from our local farmers’ market. And a secret — we’ll have a special guest: a tarot card reader who’ll be helping you tune into your intuitive, spiritual side at the start of the evening.

For our third Mindfulness Beauty Event, as always, we’ve curated a fabulous selection of kick-ass speakers to unravel just what it means to be a woman in our modern world. As women, we’ve come a long way— today, we’re busy, thriving, savvy, and more ambitious than ever. But does this success come at a cost?

Inspiration.

Together with our speakers, we’ll explore notions of success, hormone health, and how to follow your passions in a way that is fulfilling and nourishing. We’ll discuss the journey of career goals and entrepreneurship and learn tools to get empowered— while still focusing on our inner balance, relationships, and wellbeing.

Yoga Teacher, Skin and Wellness Expert. Linda will bring to life how you can follow your Entrepreneurship dreams whilst using the Entrepreneurship journey to form a better relationship with self. > Eva Kiriakoff Co-owner Nimbus Co Melbourne, Yoga Teacher & International Aid Worker

Eva believes every individual has the power within to create change and influence others, this starts with our internal self-care – how we feel and think profoundly impacts our external self and world. Eva will share her own incredible journey, where she took a leap to follow her heart through a career in international aid work (having worked in 14 countries), to her relationship with yoga therapy – eventually becoming a yoga teacher – as well as what led her to becoming a partner in Nimbus Co Melbourne. She will draw on her experiences – both personal and professional – and share her most relevant insights on how tuning in and prioritising self care and is crucial to female career driven women of today. Dr Abbie will walk us through what is Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and the positive impact it can have when worked alone or in conjunction with western medicine. She’ll be exploring the philosophies and perspectives that skin and beauty is an extension of our internal expression, whether that be health, mind or living our purpose. Abbie will bring to life the idea that we don’t need to thrive in life to be ‘acing’ but we can well and truly glow throughout our lives through self-care practices by using Chinese medicine.
